David Watts

Notary Public

About David Watts

David was born and raised in Vancouver.  David has been a BC Notary Public since May 2006; after receiving a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC.  David has served on the Society of Notaries Public of British Columbia’s Board of Directors since 2011 and has been President since October 2021.

Being a BC Notary is exciting and every day is different.  He enjoys getting to help people with things like: buying and selling unique properties are; helping people with mortgages (whether they are lending or borrowing), and helping people with wills and estate planning when there can be complexities to manage. David loves when clients share how they feel when we help them.  Sharing in that excitement and knowing we’ve made a difference for them is one of his favorite things about what we do.

When not working, David finds himself spending time with family and enjoying his kids’ activities.  When time permits; he enjoys skiing, playing hockey, golf and generally being active, especially outside.
